I am Gary Steven Bray, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 23 years of experience treating addictions, depression, anxiety, panic disorder, men’s issues, behavioral issues, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and trauma-related disorders in various settings. I have worked in mental health centers, the Department of Juvenile Justice facilities, private practice, and, for the last seven years, in the school system. Over the past month, I have conducted telehealth sessions. My experience includes individual, family, and group counseling.
I entered the mental health field after retiring from nearly 23 years of active duty service in the U.S. Air Force, where I served as an Administrative Specialist/Administrative Supervisor and a Squadron First Sergeant. As a First Sergeant, I was involved in both individual and family counseling, which sparked my interest in the counseling field. I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida, and hold a Master of Science Degree with a major in Psychology from Troy University.
