Peter Stieglmayr, LMHC, CASAC, CCTP
Peter Stieglmayr is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in the treatment of trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and addictions. He received his M.A. in mental health counseling from Fordham University. Peter's additional training includes specializations in trauma and addictions.
Mr. Stieglmayr's clinical experience ranges from working both in inpatient and outpatient substance use settings, community mental health settings, and in private practice, with clients ranging from severely mentally ill to high functioning clientele. Mr. Stieglmayr takes a holistic and eclectic approach to therapy that incorporates evidence-based treatments such as CBT, DBT, and ACT. Mr. Stieglmayr believes that the therapist is a catalyst in helping the client change and that a collaborative approach when utilized can instill lasting change.
