Luke Lorefice, Therapist
Luke Lorefice is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who specializes in the treatment of adolescents and young adults who are struggling with change, anxiety, depression, substance-abuse, and relationship issues. Luke has experience working with individuals who are having difficulty doing well at school, work, and in their interpersonal relationships. He has also worked extensively with individuals with learning differences and with those who are on the autistic spectrum.
Luke received his M.S.W. from Simmons University, B.S. from Elon University and is a well-respected therapist trained in CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and psychoeducation. He has previously worked at the Independence Center in Los Angeles and the Illumination Foundation in Orange County.
When Luke is not helping his Awake Therapy clients, he’s a mental health therapist at Morningside High School.
