Livvy Gerrish, LCSW

Livvy Gerrish, LCSW (she/her/hers), specializes in working with survivors of trauma. She graduated from Weber State University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in social work, the University of Wyoming with a master's degree in social work in 2017, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Livvy is passionate about trauma and violence prevention for individuals, families, and communities. In her work, Livvy has served as an advocate, counselor, educator, and organizer. Livvy became a social worker to help people navigate their stories. She believes that every person lives a wonderful, exciting, terrifying, challenging, and meaningful story. Sometimes there are dark chapters in a person's story, and it is helpful to have someone join them in their journey. Livvy wants to be that person. Livvy has worked with individuals experiencing trauma, depression, crisis, grief, and both long and short-term mental health barriers throughout her career.

When Livvy isn't in the office, she can be found drinking far too much Diet Coke, watching scary movies, volunteering, or creating plans for projects that she will never have enough time to complete.
