Lisa Roth, Therapist
"The lost home that we are seeking is ourselves; It is the story we carry within our soul." -Michael Meade
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology. I have over 20 years of experience in the field and have worked at agencies, hospitals, schools, shelters, and residential facilities.
I am a strength-based, person-centered, and psychodynamic psychologist who uses creative arts, narrative, and didactic approaches to help you connect and express what is most important to you.
I see therapy as a gateway to strengthening our authentic self through healing, learning, acceptance, and growth. It is often through our self-proclaimed imperfections that we find the greatest gifts, insights, and points of focus that help us understand and become clear about the path we are walking and the possibilities that are before us. We have all known suffering, loss, trauma, and despair. These experiences may shape us but they do not have to define us.
You've taken a huge step in just coming here. If you are ready to start the process of self-discovery then I am here to support you.
I look forward to working with you!
