Lena Kornyeyeva, Ph.D.
Hi, I am Dr. Lena Kornyeyeva.
I run my private practice as a psychologist and couples therapist in Bad Kissingen, Germany. I received my Ph.D. from Jacobs University Bremen and earlier my master's and B.A. degree from Moscow Humanitarian-Economic Institute (Odessa branch).
In my work, I enjoy applying the most effective concepts of transactional analysis and emotional literacy. Years of practical experience (since 2003) helped me to develop my own approach which I call "Paarcoaching nach Wertprinzip" in German — a value-centered relationship therapy. An individual value and its acknowledgment are core aspects in any human relationship, especially in close ones. I enjoy working with individuals and couples helping them to build up desirable relationships. I truly believe that everyone deserves and can live a happy, fulfilled life. I work with people of all identities and affiliations.
I speak fluent Russian (mother tongue), German, Ukrainian, and English.
Professional affiliations: I am a member of the Professional Association of German Psychologists (Berufsverband Deutscher Psychologinnen und Psychologen) and German Society for Emotional Literacy (DGEK, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Emotionale Kompetenz). I am a published author of several books on psychology in German and Russian.
I am happily married and a mother of a son.
Specialty Areas: Relationships, Couples Therapy, Depression/Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Coping Strategies, Mindfulness, Individual Communicative Effectiveness
