Bailey Dougherty, LMHC
Hello! I am an open-minded therapist with a belief that we are all different and those differences are what make us unique. I provide a non-judgemental, laid back, and accepting space where clients can feel comfortable and safe. Utilizing evidence-based practices, I provide education, support, and help my clients build confidence while processing past trauma or distressing events. I am trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is a top-tier trauma intervention. Together we will work to identify current coping strategies and build on those skills by adding research-based tools. These will include an emphasis on self-care, mindfulness, emotion education and acceptance, and self-talk.
I will be thrilled to be there with you through this process of learning to become more adaptive, healthier, and happier.
I am experienced in working with individuals ranging in age from 13 - 50 years old. I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship difficulties, abuse and trauma (sexual, verbal, physical, and emotional), PTSD, teen issues, school/work stress.
