Janea Charles, LCSW
Hello! My name is Janea (pronounced Ja-nae) Charles and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Child and Family Studies and moved on to Louisiana State University and obtained my Masters degree in Social Work.
Throughout my professional career I have worked with a wide variety of ages including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; with my personal "sweet spot" being adults 18 and up. My specialties include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, and women's issues.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, learning about plant-based living, and spending time with family and friends. However, my most beloved and important role is being a wife and mother. I appreciate clients who are flexible and understanding as I too do my best to be flexible to their personal needs as well.
